Today's the day!!!

After a long year and a half, we're finally getting married. It's funny, it seems a lot of people (mostly guys) see getting married as an end to freedom, and I don't know about that. I think it frees you more than ever, because now you aren't alone and there's someone with you to always push you where you need to go, and in what you want to do. I've found I've become a stronger person, and its still 7 hours before I'm married. I can only image the adventure it will be once I am. See you on the other side, or at our honeymoon!!!

Life Drawing for 5/17/2006

Today was life drawing class. As a stroke of stupid genius (meaning, why didn't I think of this sooner ) I put all the drawings and gestures are on two pages. It totally saves room, its easier to upload, and it makes it easier to see all the the drawings. Haha I'm a genius. Also go check out Bob Hume's Sketch blog. He's got some awesome character designs, and if you click on some of the comments, you'll see me get fiesty over John K's lessons. I'd rant about them more, but last thing I want is a buntch of John K fans to come bash down on my insignificant sketch blog.

I drew this picture today watching Star Trek, and thinking about all the red shirted guys, sent off to their doom while the captain and friends go and teach alien women the secrets of Love. Lately I've been thinking about ideas for a Sci Fi spoof comic. But I'll get to all that after I get married and move to LA. Right now I'll just doodle the ideas.

Gestures gestures gestures!!!!!!

I usually don't post my gestures, because I tend to get to life drawing late. Because I have trouble waking up. But today I was up early, and I got there on time, and I did a butt load of gesture drawings.

Weekly Life drawings

More Life drawings, for the week. I find that when I go to life drawing I'm inspired and ready to draw, but I at Home I'm not so inspired, and I have trouble coming up with ideas. Maybe that means I need to get out more.

Got the idea for this from Brian and his 8 bit art book. Its supposed to my brother and I as Mario and Luigi, but I can't remember what my brother looks like, what can I say he's a teenager and his face changes by the minute, and I drew my mustache to big, so instead its more of just a picture of Mario and Luigi, and Luigi just shaved.
